Wealth Growth:

The biggest absolute wealth increase has been in China. Eastern Asia has experienced the largest proportional increases in wealth, averaging a growth in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of 8% a year.
Work hours:

In average, people in North America and Europe spend 4 hours and 30 minutes each day doing paid work. In central Africa, the average man does 8 hours and 6 minutes every day.
Population in 2030:

Biggest growth will be in Africa. World population is then predicted to decline between 2030 and 2050.
Human Development Index:

The map shows the population of each territory multiplied by the Human Development Index of the United Nations Development Program. This is a measure of quality of life. It combines measures of health, wealth and education in a territory.
In 2004, an optimum score of 1000 was achieved where life expectancy was 85 or more years, adult literacy was 100%, school enrolment was 100% and the Gross Domestic Product is US$40 000 or more per person per year.
Norway has the highest score of 956; Sierra Leone has the lowest score of 273. The world average is 698.
Water ressources:

Of all the water available, the regions of South America and Asia Pacific have the most.
Traditional fuel usage:

People living in Central Africa have the highest per person traditional fuel usage, given the poor infrastructures there and relatively weak economic position.
Species Extinction:

Many more species recorded as recently becoming extinct lived in the United States than anywhere else, followed by the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda and Mauritius.
